This user-friendly device lets hearing aid wearers enjoy clear, hands-free phone conversations as a substitute for a headset. The device is an induction loop system that works with hearings aids set in the "T" position; this is designed to eliminate possible feedback or interference. Incoming sound is fed directly to hearing aid, bypassing microphone use for enhanced clarity.
The NL 100 is fully compatible with Amplicom's PowerTel series, but can be used with any phone that has a 2.5 mm headset jack that includes corded phones (plugs into base), cordless phones (plugs into handset) and cell phone. The NL 100 also includes an integrated microphone, volume control up to 26 dB and a battery-status indicator. Batter and music-player adapter are included in the suggested retail price of $39.95.
