Feb. 6 is the deadline for submitting nominations to Beltone for the 13th Annual Larry Mauldin Award. Presented since 1999, the award celebrates individuals who have demonstrated unsurpassed dedication to excellence in education and professionalism in the hearing care industry and unselfishly giving back to the profession, the community, and people with hearing impairment.
The annual award was created to honor the accomplishments of the late Larry Mauldin for his work and commitment to education in the field of audiology. His passion was to advance the knowledge of audiology and hearing aid fittings to as broad an audience as possible.
This year's award will be presented at the annual convention of the American Academy of Audiology, which will be held March 28-31 in Boston.
Nominations must include the following: a written statement about the nominee, the reason the audiologist should receive the award, the number of years of the nominee's professional experience, and contact information for yourself and the nominee.
All nominations should be sent no later than Feb. 6 to Cydney Fox, AuD, at cydneyfox@gmail.com.
