TV Ears, a manufacturer of doctor-recommended TV listening solutions, showcased its 3D Sound Amplifier Kit, 3D Open Fit Kit and 3D RIC Kit at the 2011 International Consumer Electronics Show.
The company aims to solve the three most frustrating dimensions of hearing loss: hearing television dialog, hearing on the telephone and hearing conversations in noisy environments.
"In these tough economic times, we wanted to provide folks with an affordable and more effective alternative to hearing aids alone. To achieve this goal, we packaged our doctor-recommended TV Ears, the Hamilton CapTel 800i captioning telephone and two Hearing Aids into a kit," said George Dennis, founder and CEO of TV Ears. "We plan to introduce all our new customers to the 3D Hearing Aid Kits and refer them to a TV Ears Certified Hearing Centers where they can be professionally fitted for the most appropriate kit."
Each year, TV Ears introduces more than 300,000 hearing-impaired individuals to the joy of using TV Ears to hear television better and more clearly without turning up the volume. The Hamilton CapTel 800i is a large button, amplified telephone that captions the conversation on an extra-large LCD screen. The Sound Amplifier, Open Fit and RIC Hearing Aids are available in the most popular brands, styles and colors.
